Our wonderful Life Member, star player and ace junior coach Liz Jerrat is not nominating for Womens Rep again this year.
So we are looking for someone to take over this position in 2010. The job involves attending committee meetings (held once a month at the clubrooms following Thursday training) and liaising between the committee, team reps and the coaches to make sure everything runs smoothly. Most of the hard work will have been done by the AGM when the new person needs to take over.
We have two new coaches this year and with the help of our team reps your work should be minimised.
Please think about whether you can take on this role. Yes it is quite a bit of work, but someone has to do it and Liz will be there to help if needed! It will be a rewarding experience and will mean you get to know a lot more people in the club other than just the ladies teams.
Many of you had great suggestions last year on issues such as reducing fees, fund raising, team selections, umpiring etc. If you really want to be heard then here is your opportunity!!!!
